Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website and the provision of services by Lincs Tree & Landscaping Services (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

1. Services

We provide landscaping, garden maintenance, tree care, fencing, gravel driveways, and related outdoor services in Lincoln and surrounding areas. All services are carried out with reasonable care, skill, and in accordance with industry standards.

2. Quotes & Estimates

• All quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.

• Quotes are based on the information provided by the client at the time of enquiry. Additional work or unforeseen circumstances may result in revised costs, which will be discussed and agreed before proceeding.

• We reserve the right to decline work at our discretion.

3. Payments

• Payment terms will be agreed before work commences. Unless otherwise stated, payment is due upon completion of the work.

• Larger projects may require a deposit or staged payments.

• Payments can be made via bank transfer, cheque, or other methods agreed in advance.

• Late payments may incur interest charges in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.

• If adequate notice is not provided, we reserve the right to charge for any costs incurred (e.g., materials purchased, travel expenses).

• Severe weather or unforeseen circumstances may require us to postpone or reschedule work. In such cases, we will inform you as soon as possible and arrange a new date.

5. Access & Site Preparation

• Clients are responsible for providing access to the property and ensuring the site is clear of obstructions before work begins.

• If access is restricted or delays are caused by the client, additional charges may apply.

• For safety reasons, pets and children must be kept away from work areas while our team is operating.

6. Waste Removal

• Unless otherwise agreed, green waste and debris generated from our services will be removed and disposed of responsibly.

• If clients wish to keep wood, chippings, or other by-products, this must be confirmed in advance.

7. Liability

• While every effort is made to protect property, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or structural weaknesses (e.g., old fences, unstable walls, hidden underground services).

• We are not liable for damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather conditions.

• Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out and does not extend to indirect or consequential losses.

8. Insurance

We carry full public liability insurance and operate in accordance with health and safety regulations. Copies of insurance documents are available on request.

9. Complaints

We aim to deliver excellent service. If you are dissatisfied, please notify us immediately so we can resolve the issue. Formal complaints should be submitted in writing to our business address or email.

10. Website Use

• Content on our website is for general information only and may be updated without notice.

• We own the copyright and intellectual property rights in all website content unless otherwise stated.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit website content without prior written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
